What to do instead of waking up at 12 p.m. and sitting on your phone all day…
Teens, there are so many ways to have a fun and productive summer (and not waste your time). Below are some suggestions for activities you can do this summer.

Work/Study Related
- Volunteer opportunities (animal shelter, homeless shelter, food drive, ocean cleanups). Volunteering can be a great way to occupy yourself and is also required of most high school students. Additionally, multiple colleges and universities look for a student who is involved in their community.
 - Take an online course: Staying productive and learning throughout summer can help eliminate some course requirements and help keep your brain fresh (#notalazysummer).
 - Study a new language. Also impressive to colleges and workplaces, this is a smart choice to make this summer.
 - Summer Camp Counseling: If you want to earn money, becoming a summer camp counselor is an option! This is also an amazing opportunity to gain work experience.
 - Internship. Interning is a great idea for those who want to explore a potential field of work.
