Gosh it’s been a minute! I’m so glad to return to a TMT. Things have been chaotic but TMTs bring a little routine to my life.
Today’s TMT is about not understanding your feelings. I’d really love for us to have a discussion in the comments on our thoughts/ experiences with this, but sometimes feelings are hard. They’re hard to navigate at least. Emotions can be confusing and time consuming because you want to, but can’t understand, what you’re feeling.
Sometimes it feels like there’s a fog hanging over your head.
It’s completely normal though, and from experience the best thing to do is be patient. Time will usually sort things out. You could also journal individual thoughts and then look at the bigger picture.
Meditation works for me as well, although I don’t do traditional breath work. I enjoy sitting in the dark in complete silence to sort my thoughts and feelings before bed.

I hope anyone who had complicated emotions right now can relax a bit knowing they’re not alone. Remember, sometimes it’s best to let go and let things sort themselves out.
