Hello! Welcome to a long-awaited post.
I’ve been busy.
I know I ought to have a better excuse than that, but it’s true. Busy and undisciplined. In my free time, I have been creating drafts and drafts of posts that have never seen the light, because I’m somewhat of a perfectionist and cannot release mediocre work. Yet, with my running mind and jam-packed schedule, none of the posts received my full attention or detail.
I will edit and release some of them to catch you all up on my life soon.
As of right now, it is the last day of my Junior year and I’ve decided to stay home. Well, I haven’t had much of a choice. My sister decided to stay home and so must I! I regret it in a way, not being able to say some final goodbyes. However, it is just an unfortunate situation that will pass.
On the bright side, I have a busy summer to look forward to. I’m not sure that busy equates to “bright,” but I do have many activities to keep myself busy. For starters, I have an SAT scheduled, as well as the start of a Spanish 3 course. Additionally, I hope to become an online SAT tutor for the Reading and Writing section, and I’m on the lookout for some research opportunities. So, as excited as I am to catch a break, I don’t think there will be much of one.
However, later in the summer, I have some exciting travel and dental internship plans in New York! Stay tuned for that post, which should arrive in early August. I will be traveling alone with my sister for the first time which will be a big milestone and memorable experience!
There will also be multiple beach trips and food reviews that you will not want to miss. 🏝️
I do not have the stress of countless exams and projects to weigh on me, so I hope to post more. Truthfully, I have missed it and cannot wait to get back into the groove of things!
I will be releasing another post tomorrow to discuss the final weeks of my Junior year, with all of its ups and downs and fun activities. That includes AP exams (fun?), Junior Prom, and Junior Takeover Day.
Later this week I will dissect the last two months of my life and share the details of what I’ve been up to as well.
I appreciate your patience with me, and I’ll see you in tomorrow’s post.
Best, Nicole. 🤍
