Friday the 13th: Spooky Late-Night Post🎃

Hello all, everything’s feeling a little spookier now that it’s the 13th. It makes me want to put aside my to-do list and come back here!

Today I will share some fun fall activities, and a little life update because why not?!

To start, here’s a list of fall activities you can participate in regardless of age, that will get you into the autumn spirit:

  • Apple picking 🍎
  • Pumpkin picking
  • Pumpkin carving 🎃
  • Baking 🥧
  • Drinking a Pumpkin Spice Latte ☕
  • Drinking a chai tea 🍵
  • Collecting fall leaves 🍂🍁
  • Watching Gilmore girls or any fall movie! 📺
  • Lighting a spooky candle🕯️
  • Going home decor shopping!
  • Autumn arts and crafts 🎨
  • Creating a wreath
  • Knitting a scarf or blanket
  • Read a thriller 📖

Some lil updates:

Pretty exciting news coming soon y’all! I CANNOT wait to share it!

Fall Snacks:

Here is my new favorite granola that’s also healthy, Gluten-Free, and non-GMO! The peanut butter taste is strong which I find pleasing.

School:

Overall, school has been the same as usual; a bit stressful at times until things calm down, and then they pick back up at the same pace again. I’ve made many new friends which I’m grateful for and have strengthened past friendships too. Just riding this wave of Junior year. 😇

My favorite class has changed from AP research to AP US History. I’m not big on history because I don’t enjoy forced memorization (of dates, names, etc.) but my teacher is amazing, and my classmates are fun to be around.

We did a debate in class yesterday in groups, which was probably the most interesting and exciting project I’ve ever done. Honestly, I’d say I’m pretty good at debating, despite us losing. However, I wasn’t sour because of the loss, I was proud of my hard-working team!

Maybe a bit TMI, but I almost cried in my AP Statistics class because I got a score I wasn’t happy with. It got boosted by the second part of the test (an FRQ) but my teacher was a literal angel and made sure I was okay. He even asked me the next day if I was doing alright. Never underestimate how much you can help someone by listening to them and supporting them.

I’d like to give a shout-out to my friend who left a review and said he wants my posts to make people laugh more! Sorry for the sentimental tone, but I will attempt to bring my readers more joy. 😆

Leave a review here:

Some happy things to think about: 1. I’m bringing y’all news that I’m ecstatic about, soon. 2. I’m going to homecoming this October for the first time! 3. Nothing is better than the chilly autumn breeze we feel every day here in Florida! (Ha! I wish.)

It’s been raining often, but sometimes we get beautiful sun showers! 🌦️

I also think I’m going to start reading again as I haven’t been reading books for personal pleasure as I used to. Leave any book recommendations in the comments below!

This is the book I’ve been treading through since the summer… and I desperately need to finish it to move on to a new book for the season.

That’s my most recent book goal! 😂

That’s about it for today…

I hope you had a lucky Friday and nothing creepy happened. 👻 Everything went smoothly for me today, haha!

I’ll see you in my next post… keep your eyes peeled for some news!

    1. YOU’RE THE SWEETEST THANK YOU!

  2. Awesome post with tons of great ideas and updates, as usual! You should be super proud of all the hard work you do and try not to let one grade bring you down. But OMG I can’t wait for your news (also wondering why I don’t already know about it 🤣).

    1. HAHA! You will find out soon… maybe it’s just me who’s too excited about it!
And thank you as always for your support! 💗

  3. Hey Nicole! 👋 I loved your post—it’s perfect for getting into the spooky fall vibe! 🍂🎃 Your list of fall activities is spot on! I can’t wait to dive into apple picking and pumpkin carving myself. Also, it’s so relatable that school has those waves of calm and stress. AP US History sounds like it’s been such a fun surprise for you, and I’m glad your debate experience was positive despite the loss. And about AP Stats—ugh, I’ve totally been there, but having supportive teachers like yours makes such a difference!

Can’t wait to hear your exciting news soon! 🤩 Also, for book recs, if you’re in the mood for a thriller, try The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides. It’s an absolute page-turner! 📚

P.S. Homecoming sounds so exciting!! 😄
